Wooded Contemporary

Architecture is a visual art, and the buildings speak for themselves.

Wooded Contemporary

A signature architectural element, the most distinctive may be the butterfly roof.  The V-shaped feature, also known as an inverted gable roof, architects have used butterfly roofs for their eye-catching angles and eco-friendly properties, which include the ability to collect rainwater and incorporate larger windows.

This contemporary double butterfly roof home backs onto Chantrell Creek which protects our local salmon run.  From the thick forest, the European style sliding doors lead you to the calm and serenity of the back yard with its outdoor hot tub and lap pool.  With classic finishes of cedar and stone, this west coast home shines with its semi-detached art studio, truly an architect’s dream!
